It’s a really perfect portfolio template in every respect. The following design style that combines simplicity and at the same time intense coverage of the photo elements is a sample of professional craftsmanship. I don’t know if I need to go further into analyzing the design and style of the portfolio as anyone can see it from the preview images. What I have to mention are the features that the template has and how the users can edit it, customize it according to their own criteria and generally the degree of freedom in any changes may have. So from my experience with the template, I can tell you that I’ve always been pleasantly surprised by the ease with which you can add content to the template. Your photos can be inserted into the template really easily. I use the Drag n ‘Drop technique and even select multiple images and then with a Drag into InDesign I place the images in the image frames I want. For those of you who are not familiar with this multi-image technique in Drag n ‘Drop, I will briefly describe it: We find the folder on our computer with the images we would like to include in our portfolio. We select our photos in a way that the operating system allows us. We drag the photos into InDesign and with the click of the mouse we go to the frame that we are interested in and click inside, then the image is inserted into the frame taking the magnification settings of the frame that hosts it. It is then observed that in the cursor there is the next image from the ones you had previously selected. Scroll to another image frame and by clicking inside the frame insert the new image into it. This process is repeated until the images you have selected are finished. One important note about this process is the ability to allow InDesign to go to the next or previous photo when you preview it in the mouse cursor. It may sound a bit complex or tricky but really anyone who has tried it once can understand the practicality of the process directly. I have to tell you that as a user I have a great deal of fluency in using Adobe InDesign, however using templates help me to easily, quickly, and cost-effectively target my clients with their assigned projects. The things I like are the default typographical settings that allow you to simply type in your own text without having to make all the relevant and time-consuming adjustments. Finally, I should not forget to mention the ease of color change throughout the template with just one change. This is made possible by the use of Global Swatches according to which the template is designed from scratch. Technically it is a well-structured template and at the same time professionally designed. I hope I didn’t tire you of a large amount of text I cited. Thanks.
