But more than 80% of the electricity supplied to this bulb will be used for heating and hence the bulbs become overheated. So they are highly power wasting bulbs. So avoid them as much as possible.
LED and LCD bulbs:
The latest developments in the field of electricity are the discovery of LCD and LED bulbs, which are highly economical compared to incandescent bulbs. Before the advent of these two, there were other kind of lights like fluorescent lights which were used for lighting the homes. They were very long and were difficult to fix in home. So they were mainly used in commercial areas only. They were very efficient because they used less than 2% of the electricity supplied to them in heating and the remaining electricity was used for lightings and hence they were regarded as the best replacements for ordinary incandescent lights.
So decorating the surroundings of the home is very simple. The only thing is that you should understand what the impotent lights that are best suited for the surroundings are. There are a very large number of such options for you, but among them, only a few are best suited for us. LCD and LED lights which were invented recently are much better than even the fluorescent lights. So make arrangements for burning the lights brightly in your surroundings.
